Contour RollerMouse Pro2
Contour RollerMouse Pro2

Contour RollerMouse Pro2

Hands together in front of the body

The RollerMouse products are an example of how we create good alternatives to traditional pointing devices. The basic idea behind the RollerMouse is that users work with their hands in front of their body. This is the most relaxed position, and the one where the fewest muscles are used and stretched.

• Eliminates reaching for a traditional mouse, relieving neck, shoulder and elbow pain. Asymmetrical reaching with one side of your body causes your muscle groups to compensate for the weight of your extended arm while reaching for a traditional mouse.

• There is no gripping necessary, thus avoiding the threat of Repetitive Strain Injuries such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and Tendonitis. The RollerMouse Pro2 is controlled with the use of an unflexed hand, so there is no need to clutch or hold the device in order to navigate the cursor.

• Promotes the equal use of both hands, reducing the risk of injuring your dominant “mousing” hand. With the mouse buttons centred beneath the keyboard home keys, mouse control is equidistant from either hand. Ambidextrous use is encouraged and easily accomplished.

• Easy to use keyboard “lifters” elevate your keyboard to the proper height. With ultra-slim keyboards becoming increasingly popular, two keyboard lifters allow you to change the height and angle of your keyboard. There are three heights to choose from and you can angle your keyboard appropriately.

• Convenient, out of the box, “plug and play” connectivity for both PC and Mac computers. This HID compliant device has the drivers “on board” and simply needs to be plugged into any empty USB port.

• There are seven pre-programmed button functions. There are two easy options for performing a “left click.” Either push down on the navigation bar itself, or click on the large left button in the button control area. Other button functions include a traditional “right click” button, a single touch “double click” button, a scroll wheel, a scroll lock , “one touch” copy and “one touch” paste.

Contour RollerMouse Free2
Contour RollerMouse Free2

Contour RollerMouse Free2

RollerMouse Free is the latest product in the series of centered mice/ two-handed mice from Contour Design. It is designed like Contour Design’s other products, enabling you to use a minimum of energy and unnecessary movements to navigate the cursor. It simply provides increased freedom for your hands, arms and shoulders.

Made for your keyboard
Use the keyboard risers to customize the height and angle of your keyboard to find the most comfortable typing position.

Room for two
The fully open rollerbar allows you to place several fingers, from one or both hands, parallel to each other. This improves control and precision while reducing and distributing the workload between the fingers.

Slim, flat and low
RollerMouse Free2 is the lowest RollerMouse yet - 19.5 mm height.

Rest your wrists
Make movements comfortable and effortless with RollerMouse Free2 leatherette wrist rests. The wrist padding is slightly higher than the rollerbar to avoid unwanted clicks.

Quick and easy cursor speed selection
Choose between five cursor speeds ranging from 800 dpi to 1600 dpi for maximum precision. The speed increases by 200 dpi with a push of a button. Five lights above the triangular button indicate your current cursor speed.

Tip: New users may want to start with low cursor speed. Once familiar with RollerMouse, we recommend selecting a higher cursor speed. For users with big screens, or multiple screens, the faster setting makes it easier to reach further with the same rollerbar movement.

Central control
RollerMouse Free2 controls are located near the keyboard. Everything you need to control your computer is within reach. This eliminates awkward movements and strain caused by gripping the mouse.

Custom made
The ultra-low and slim design of RollerMouse Free2 fits most keyboards without the need for further adjustment. If you want to customize the height and angle of your keyboard, simply insert the keyboard risers, two modular mini-platforms, to find the most comfortable working position. . Tip: You can vary settings to adapt to thinner, more narrow or compact keyboards.

Choose the force
Adjust the amount of pressure required to perform a mouse click. Use the click-force tension slider underneath RollerMouse Free2 to choose from soft to firm settings.

End detection
If your cursor cannot move further, simply force the bar slightly to the right or left until you hear a gentle click. This activates the end detection and the cursor can move anywhere on the screen.

Tip: If you’re using multiple screens, the end detection function allows you to re-align the cursor position.

Technical Specifications

NomusNavigator
NomusNavigator™

NomusNavigator3

NomusNavigator™

Working with a Central Pointing Device allows for a relaxed and comfortable positioning of the shoulders, arms and wrists when typing and/or mousing. The NomusNavigator™ encourages the user to work with the arms in front of the body instead of at the sides.

Due to the unique layout of the NomusNavigator™, you automatically use the smaller muscle groups (fingers) for detailed tasks and micromovements instead of the larger muscle groups (shoulders, arms and thumbs). The layout also supports and encourages the use of both left & right hands.

Function

The scroll joystick offers a unique smooth feel when scrolling either horizontally or vertically and it´s placement allows the use of both left and right hand.
The operational roller controls the cursor. The roller has a large and increased diameter for more accuracy and smoother feel. The large diameter also makes it easier to use.
The roller is covered with soft rubber to provide a firm grip when rolling and is placed centrally in the control panel. It is “sunk in” to prevent touching of the roller when moving hands up and down from the keyboard. The roller has a built in left click function that can be very easily turned on and off.
The most frequently used operational functions are above the roller - Delete, Left, Right and Enter. The keys under the roller are Ctrl, Copy, Cut and Paste. All of these operational functions are active at any time without the need of extra programming or using extra settings.
The operational functions require only a very low force when compared to regular mice. They are large in size to prevent “misclicking” and for the ease of use with both right and left hand.

Orthomouse
8471 - OrthoMouse

OrthoMouse

The OrthoMouse is designed so that it supports the hand and fingers evenly while they adopt a relaxed position. The index and middle fingers rest on the two buttons. Clicking occurs with a minimum horizontal displacement within these fingers. The thumb remains in “opposition” to the other fingers. It allows control, sensitivity and precision, since the fingers assume a position very similar to that used during writing.

The thumb on the OrthoMouse is responsible for the scroll features – you move it up for scrolling upwards, down for scrolling downwards, and press the thumb mid button for the scrolling click.
